New Location in North Miami makes healthcare more accessible The Miami Beach Community Health Center, in collaboration with NANAY, Inc. (National Alliance to Nurture the Aged and the Youth), celebrated its newest location in 12340 NE 6th Court in North Miami with an open house celebration held this past June. Local Businesses and organizations showed their support during this special event. "We are very excited about our opening in North Miami to provide quality and affordable healthcare to local residents," said Kathryn Abbate, chief executive officer of Miami Beach Community Health Center. It is with pleasure that we collaborate with NANAY to provide comprehensive healthcare and support services." "NANAY Health Center has been a trusted community resource and with this new collaboration it will offer even more beneficial services," said Bennie Trinidad, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of NANAY, Inc. "NANAY is proud that it was able to start this health center in 2004 and is pleased that its mission to enhance the well-being of the entire community will continue through the Miami Beach Community Health Center."
City of North Miami Mayor Kevin Burns, Miami-Dade County Commissioner Sally Heyman, Biscayne Park Commissioner Kelly Mallette, President/CEO of NANAY, Jocelyn Bruce, M.D., Miami Beach Community Health Center CEO Kathryn Abbate, and NANAY Vice President/Chief Operating Officer Bennie Trinidad participated in the ribbon cutting ceremony.
