NANAY Health Center Holds Ribbon Cutting Ceremony 

Miami, Florida - June 17, 2006

On Saturday, June 17, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the NANAY Health Center in North Miami, formally introducing Miami Beach Community Center's partnership with NANAY, and its significant role in providing primary health care to the community as NANAY.

Mayor Kevin Burns presented a Proclamation from the City of North Miami, declaring June 17, 2006 as Miami Beach Community Health Center Day, and formally acknowledging NANAY's contribution to the City, through provision of support services to its residents.

The Board members of Miami Beach Community Health Center were introduced, including Dr. Antonio Wong, who is also Chair of the NANAY Health Board.

 NANAY President Joy Bruce and Executive Vice-President Bennie Trinidad joined Miami Beach Community Center Kathlene Abaya, Mayor Kevin Burns, Commissioner Sally Heyman and other key officials in cutting the ribbon.
