Management of Impressions:  How to “Put Your Best Foot Forward” in Everyday Life

Learn how to reap the benefits of and enjoyment from a culturally and linguistically diverse society.  Find out how to extend your hand of friendship, overcome intolerance, prevent misunderstanding and promote peace in our neighborhoods.

 

February 7 (Tuesday) 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Cross-Cultural Relations:  How to Create an Atmosphere of Acceptance, Friendship and Peace in Our Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Community

Learn how to reap the benefits of and enjoyment from a culturally and linguistically diverse society.  Find out how to extend your hand of friendship, overcome intolerance, prevent misunderstanding and promote peace in our neighborhoods.

 

February 14 (Tuesday) 4:00–5:00 p.m.

Stress Management:  The Impact of Nutrition on Personal Wellness and Stress Reduction

“You are what you eat” is a common saying that seems to describe one’s personality, attitude and behavior.  This workshop examines the effect of our eating habits on our overall health, particularly the impact of nutrition on our mental, emotional and physical health. 

 

February 21 (Tuesday) 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Care Giving:  Overcoming the Everyday Challenges of Caring for Those We Love or Care About

In spite of the depth of our love and commitment for those we love or care about, care giving presents challenges that make one’s life somewhat difficult.  Learn how to overcome such challenges and the community resources that are designed to provide relief from the difficulties of care giving.
